LEMNOS did you say?
Lemnos, an island found in the middle of the Northeastern Aegean is the 8th bigger island in size in Greece (477 sq.km.). It has about 18.000 residents and is equally far from the chersonese of Mount Athos and the narrows of Dardanelle right across Troy of Priamus.
It emerges from the waves; butterfly shaped, historically remains the stop in the archipelago, of the Argonauts, the Achaians on their way to Troy as well as the Great Powers’ to Constantinople.
